Strategies for success in your fitness program!

By monty.miller

When I was in Orlando last week I heard some great and inspirational speakers. The principles that they presented were geared towards success in business, however, these same principles apply to our everyday lives. I think these little nuggets might give you some encouragement for your fitness program.

Get a New Perspective

Realize that there are 2 main reasons people fail. Number one, the thoughts that occupy your mind andPersonal trainer Wilmington NC-Boot camps for women Leland NCnumber 2, the people you associate with. Decide to change your mindset, think about things that you are going to accomplish, not the ones you have failed to accomplish. Realize it is ok to fail sometimes, just charge ahead afterwards.

Find your Why?

Determine why you want to get into shape, why you want to lose weight or why you want to _________________. Write down why this is important to you and what it will mean to you once you have accomplished it. Get specific, this is going to help direct you in the coming weeks and months.

Be a Planner

This is a big one, I really struggle here myself. Block your time, plan your meals, plan your week, plan your days. Work from lists, prioritize and do those things first. Managing your schedule this way will help you stick to better eating habits and will ensure that you get your exercise done. Also, set deadlines and meet them!

Crush it, Kill it & Dominate!

Once you have established your why take action with complete and utter focus. Be specific in the goals that you set and tie them to your why. Establish a mindset that you will reach your destination no matter what. No matter what your friends say, no matter what the scale says….NO MATTER WHAT! Nothing can stop you!

Have No Regrets!

Don’t miss out on opportunities because of fear or doubt. Don’t look back 1 year from now and regret that you wanted to achieve something but didn’t believe it is possible. Take massive action today and you can change the world!

Hope this gets you as excited and charged up as it does me! See you soon and let me know what you think of this post by leaving a comment.

Thanks for the encouraging words, Monty. Focus is so important and so hard to lose when interruptions come along. It helps to hear someone else say it. Thanks for all you do to help us get fit!
