Hello Friend,
My name is Monty Miller a am a fitness trainer in Wilmington NC specializing in women’s only fat loss and fitness programs.
I can’t tell you that I have ever been severely overweight but there was a time in my life when I didn’t take care of myself and wasn’t in the shape that I am today. There were times before I was a personal trainer in Wilmington, when I looked in the mirror and didn’t like what I saw!
But there came a time when I had an “AHA” moment as Oprah would say
I got miserable enough that it moved me to ACTION!
I tried everything and nothing worked!
- I tried diets that were unrealistic and left me feeling sluggish and starving and making NO DIFFERNCE TO MY BODY!
- I tried traditional gym workouts that a “personal trainer” a.k.a. body builder dude gave to me and that wasn’t for me either. Number 1, I didn’t want to be a bodybuilder and number 2 I was bored out of my freakin’ mind!
- I tried long, boring cardio exercise sessions on the treadmill, elliptical and every other machine, (see also) BORED!
- Oh yea, I also tried the pills and potions that supposedly help you lose weight and shed fat in only ____ short days. None of them worked either!
I looked at all of these options and none of them worked I knew I was missing something so I began my quest to find out what it was.
First I got certified as a personal trainer. I started personal training people and knew immediately I had found my passion in life, helping others get in shape and lose weight. Then I got a bachelors degree in exercise science at UNC-Wilmington. I still had questions so I continued on and completed a masters degree in exercise physiology at UNC-Chapel Hill.
All along the way I read and evaluated diet books, internet information, exercise & fitness magazines and studied and separated fact from fiction. I tested what I was learning as I continued my work as a fitness trainer. I developed “real world” exercise and nutrition programs that delivered consistent results.
I eventually discovered the system that I now use exclusively in all of my fitness training programs to achieve systematic & predictable results.
This women’s ONLY system is now the cornerstone of everything that I do. I am laser focused on providing the training and nutrition programs that the women of Wilmington need. It gives me such satisfaction to see these ladies getting great results, having fun in the process and making great friends.
